i guess i like this now. ive never felt anything towards a fictonal character outside of casual interest in their story. i feel protective towards this literal computer program. I reloaded a save 14 times trying to protect this character whos supposed to be stronger than me. they're all AI, just glorified NPC's with the ability to generate dialogue. why do i give such a fat honkin shit if anything bad happens to them?
