Everyone knows who White people are and yes all White countries including America had cohesive cultures/identities and histories up atleast until a few decades ago.
Asking that question is like asking "are Africans real?"
Yes they are real and just like Whites they have numerous ethnicity. Not all African groups in the huge continent of Africa are the same or look the same just as Swedish are somewhat different from British in appearance/culture/history.
In America it was "we're Europeans mostly from German/British/Swedish stock (though it worked for smaller European minority groups in the long run) who came to America for the prospect of a better life and more freedom and then along with the other Europeans built this amazing country which accomplished amazing things.
European immigrants who came here adopted American history as their own history and their children were taught that guys like Washington and the founders were their literal European ancestors and even before that "OUR" ancestors came from diverse European backrounds but that had much in common and all accomplished great things.
It gave a cohesive identity and a sense of shared history togetherness and the sense of coming together to build this new super European and a country that surpassed the old European countries we came from.
A new unique Pan-European group with a solid identity.
it was good and worked well even if in some senses not 100% technically logical from certain standpoints in a vacuum.
