>>8982022It's an irish pagan holiday, from what I know Ireland essentially had 4 main holidays/festivals which were similar to what we would call new years, but for seasons changing, there was Baltane, imbolc, samhain and lughnasadh basically, samhain was the end of summer and when fairies and spirits were able to come into the real world, basically. Which is where the sorta spooky thing is from. It's basically a ruined version of a religious holiday :)
