>unfounded distasteYou still consider it unfounded? Seriously? Just what is wrong with you? I bet he put it way better than I did, and even then you still find it unfounded, so, there's no saving you then. Damn.
I've never watched his or any food review channels, but, if he's actually fun to listen to, then I wouldn't mind. I do wanna watch someone extensively shit on something that sucks rather than praise it, also. Reasons for that.
>something about this board discourages me so.Probably the factor that nobody cares. I mean, I've likely written a thesis's worth on food at this point, and nobody's ever cared, so, lol.
But I don't think that should stop you from it. Doesn't with me. Make them cause you simply want to, because it'll be fun for you, and because you believe that you could make something appealing, maybe even better than him, no? Prove to yourself that you can. You could share it around in places after you're done if you feel like it, but your goal should be making something that you enjoy, primarily by yourself. And enjoy making it, also. Don't be brainwashed into thinking that whatever you wanna talk about doesn't matter, for whatever reason. That'll only feed into itself, and you'll never do anything, simply because you think that nobody cares therefore you shouldn't bother with it. And that's just stupid.
You could have some genuine fun doing it and get enjoyment, so, why not do it? Start out, one of these days. Just do it for yourself, rather than to have it be your gimmick on an imageboard, for others to see. Things like this are not to be forced, you know, lest it just loses the charm. You could very well show it to people still, but don't have that be the sole reason that you're doing it in the first place.
Not to be mean or pushy, I just think that you can have a lot more fun doing things if you just go by this approach, and I'd like you to have fun.
Or, maybe you just don't wanna. That'd be okay as well.
