If she buys too much clothes and spends more than she should have, talk to her about it. If she fails to do housework, and it is her assigned duty, remind her that it is important to give and take, and maintain the balance. If she is misbehaving, find out if she is bothered by something and the behavior is an outlet. If so, help her through the problems.
Your wife is not your property, just as you are not hers. You are both sentient beings with unique thoughts, urges, vices, and joys. It is okay to be firm with telling your wife what you expect, but be prepared to give back to her as much as she gives to you.
Respect the woman you chose to marry. If she fails to respect you, and you cannot resolve it through words or changes in behaviors, you may have chosen wrong.
