>>17384493oh right that's true, i was just thinking about the european theatre but actually yeah tankettes are very efficient in that cases and i think pretty much everything would be efficient against the army that outdated and underequipped but still they became obsolete very fast especially when concept of combat cars or recon cars or how do you even call things like m8 got invented
also yeah i think the variant that's presented on this picture even got angled sides judging by that gradient but that's true obviously it wouldn't be make much sense to just try to refit all the factories that produce shermans to produce basically the same thing but even more unreasonably complex, that's why they also had things like m10 or even pershing on the conveyer belts
