I stopped drinking after getting ran over by a drunk driver. When you drink for long periods repeatedly over time it affects your livers ability to regenerate. There is a chance you may have already done damage. Start with 30 days and keep a notebook of how you feel from beginning to end. At the the end see if you caved and snuck a drink. Do you have the willpower to not do it? With alcoholism we don't always realize how fast it can get a grip on our lives as it is pushed literally everywhere. There is a life outside of drinking and its the one you are wasting away.
