On the other hand, when you look at the hygiene laws given to the Jews (allegedly by God), you discover that they represent a very specific protection against microscopic threats such as viruses and bacteria, literally thousands of years before man even invented the microscope, let alone suspected there were microscopic organisms. Makes you think and wonder. I think the reason this fact isn't discussed more is because those laws are contained in the part of the Bible no one really reads - the ancient laws of the Hebrews are no concern of anyone's today. But whoever gave those laws seems to have understood PRECISELY the MODERN precautions to take when handling dead bodies or eating meat.
