(his skull mask from the early days being another Masonic symbol. In his videos there is often some footage of him in a clowns outfit (Masonic Shriners) while walking around with children.
His song "Ich und meine Maske" is basically about how this Mask is a demon telling him to be an asshole and fuck others over to be successfull. The mask, the Demon and the Masons are the little voice creating his public image he needs to stick to to be successfull.
On the other hand we have people like Xavier Naidoo, who generally is pretty whiney, but appearently rather based, here telling people how the FFF from the fridays for future correlates with the 666
