Both of which are BS IMO. Does it specifically say anywhere in your employee's handbook or other documents that they gave you, that youre not allowed to be armed? Its still not a legal issue if they did, just a very easy way to get fired.
If they didnt give you anything IN WRITTING, that you signed that youre not "allowed" and they fire you, you can sue them for wrongful termination, especially with being threatned. If they did give you something in writing, you might not get unemployment if they do fire you for it. Also keep in mind, firearms are used between 1-3 million times a year in defense of self others. No shots required.
