Revelations is very difficult to understand I have only read in parts of it and never front to back. There are so many allegories from the OT prophets and even from Greek mythology with some Hinduism. The 7 lamps and the 7 churches (described out of order) are the 7 chakras. There is so much more that I will certainly miss if I read the whole thing at once.
