sure anything can achieve some level of progress if ur dedicating 12 hours a day to it, but his main point is that doing this allows you to avoid textbooks which is a terrible recommendation. i forgot he also says that if u try speaking or writing at all in ur first 2-3 years of study or so that ur going to become absolutely cucked and have irreversible bad habits
