We didn't even had that much of a advantage over germans. It was their incompetent and lust for blood of civilians that brought their downfall.
In fact in the begining of operation Barbarossa germans had huge numerical advantage over us.
So its only natural that we got our numerical advantage in the end of war.
But germans cant accept defeat because of their ego, they make up all kind of stories to avoid shame for their failure.
