But those most ancient churches actually have secret temples to the aryan sun god Mithra in their basements, that you can visit as they are now museums. The Greeks kept secretly worshiping the old gods after being converted by the sword.
It was the same all around. A Norwegian king converted to christianity because jews paid him a lot of gold to do that, then he genocided 1/3 of all Norwegians because his people refused to convert just because he did so. The rest converted. When he died all the people instantly went back to Norse religion. Then the kings son or grandson did the same genocide again.
Christianity is about 2k years old but thats nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands of years of European history. A lot of which was wiped out by christians, as they smashed statues and destroyed texts. They burned the Library of Alexandria on purpose (they always say Romans did it, they never say the motive, it was religion).
