Also an INTP here. 4chan is mostly Intp's, Intj's, Entp's, Istp's, Entj's, Infj's and Infp's (out of 16 types total) in roughly that order. Ironically, these are the rarest types irl, which explains why this place is so different. Specific boards attract types that are otherwise less common on this site (like Estp's on /fit/, Enfp's on /mu/, etc.).
The concept of systematically categorizing personality types based on their expressed preferences is legit even if a given individual is typed incorrectly. Anons who think it's just astrology are midwits and are ngmi. Socionics is a better version of mbti but it's more obscure.
>>20100151>>20100197Infj's are easy (relatively speaking) for Intp's to attract and there's good initial chemistry, but it's a bad match long -term imo, they're constantly seeking more Se than Intp's can provide. Entj's it's a similar story, they're better as friends. Most mbti people have no idea what they're talking about. The socionics redpill is that Intp's best match is the Esfj since we share the same cognitive functions just in reverse order. But unlike the other two types, even though we're actually compatible with Esfj, there's not the same initial spark and they have very different interests so it's hard to get with them except through social circle. Look up socionics duality for a better explanation.
