My job is at a very busy customer service destination, a resort if you will, and my job has pooled tips. Base pay is 5.50 an hour, but with tips added in, it averages MUCH higher than that. Lots of jobs like this if you have the patience to get your foot in the door. Me? I deal cards at a casino, but bartenders, waiters at upscale restaurants, things like that often have similar specs.
