>>11923960well idk how it is there but exams here are just class specific anyway so it doesn't matter. the only real concern is skipping ahead then performing poorly.
potentially there could be conflicts with the credits i need for my degree but the requirements for that are your choice of a bunch of upper division credits plus japanese 3 and 4, so skipping 2 is strictly a gain there
yeah the way i want to go about it is that people going into japanese 1 are encouraged to take a placement test if they have prior knowledge so ideally they'll just let me take that and i'll either show that i should be placed in 3 or convince me to stay on the course i'm on already
