Good News! Girl Girl [20] has reported to the GJPW Dojo. An interesting note is that her first training session was attended by multiple GJPW higher-ups, Sushiroad Executives and select members of the Japanese media.
One of the people present was Japanese Waifu Wrestling journalist, historian and contributor to Waifu Observer/F4W Online; Koomi Saito. Saito, was recently on Waifu Observer Live with Brianna Alvarez and Michelle Simpervive to talk about the training session.
>BA: So, Koomi; what can you tell us about THE Girl Girl?
>KS: Yes, Girl Girl has been on GJPW's radar for a while now but due to the way Japanese promotions work, there was really no way they could've poached her. So it was a really lucky break for GJPW that Fire Sash essentially fired her.
>But from everything I saw and heard the right people are very high on Girl Girl and think that she's the perfect player to attract the teenage girl market.
>A lot of the trainers were impressed with her wrestling specially since she's a homegrown Fire Sash talent.
Details regarding Girl Girl's departure from Fire Sash are still sparse but sources close to the situation have speculated that it had something to do with the young player not wanting to be a part of the APW/Fire Sash talent exchange program.
Many reports have also alluded to Girl Girl having heat with multiple members of the APW roster, many of whom had previously worked in Japan.
