another cat i guess scratched her eye, she was kinda squinting for a couple days. The third day it wasn't any better and I took her to the vet. Vet tells me she's probably going to have her entire eye removed but told me if I wanted they could get her own plasma and use it for eye drops, but according to him the chance of her eyeball being removed was "96%". It was beyond expensive, like $1K - but I put these drops and some other eye drops he gave me in her eye exactly as I was instructed, several times a day. She kept her eyeball, and I know she can still see. But she does have a spot on that eye. A small grey spot. However she follows me everywhere constantly.. sleeps next to my head. She did this a bit before, but now it seems like she's genuinely appreciative I helped her eye.
Kinda mad the vet was pessimistic about it, but glad he gave me the option to get the drops. I just wish I could remove the spot on her eye.
