Christianity and "paganism" are very outdated ideas about how people should live and in what to believe in. They were used to guide people and even control them. In modern age you have all variety of books, experiences, opinions, ideologies and even the internet. Don't stick to outdated ideas, stick to your own and believe only to and into yourself.
