If you want to use use a communication program that's intentionally made to be unsecured, hence why so many people are doxed on that platform even if they don't share their personal information. I honestly trust Mark Cuckerburgs Prism program spy ware more than discord and that's saying a lot.
Fun fact if you had actually read the terms of service you'd know that Discord is literally legally allowed to scan all the files on your computer that includes files involving family as well as work related programs and text files.
