basically, in the past we believed that humans came from africa because it was the only evidence we had at the time, however we have since in recent times found equally or older evidence of humans in asia or europe. specifically if i recall serbia is a place where a REALLY old example of a human pre-dating when humans "originated" from africa.
i personally believe that modern europeans, modern asians and modern africans all originated in their specific continents and not all from africa.
