It would serve the same purpose as the whole house forming up against Letty and not doing jack shit. The more you think about the cult shit the more retarded it sounds and is why the season was so fucking stupid. The moment the cult shit fell apart Sam started seething and abandoned the season more or less. Not only were the fish largely capable of seeing directly through every fucking "mission" assigned, they were far too mentally stable for any sort of real cult shit to even work on them. In both seasons the fish themselves were far more capable and willing of throwing each other under the bus for victory than anything an idiot like Sam could organize.
