just look at the Fed funds rate / 10y us govt debt spread and commodities overall.
the sensible thing to do for the Fed would be to keep rates unchanged and verbally tease an end to "soft QT" (balance sheet runoff).
this would keep markets gooning indefinitely since their logic would be that "QE can not be far off now that QT is being scrapped"
