As the time passes it becomes clear that diverging from the conventional storytelling usually leads to a disaster that only the most wicked wish to read(or just pure garbage as the 'subverted expectations' had shown) And to be honest... I tried to do the subversion thing before it became so popular so i'm glad it didn't come to anything in the end.
