Even if I agreed that something like a god existed, I have no reason to believe there is only one god or that that god is the Judeo-Christian god rather than any of the other millions of gods people have worshipped over millennia. I have no reason to believe that any of the supernatural stuff in the Bible happened and lots of reasons to believe that the Bible is extremely unreliable. I have no reason to believe the prophets existed or have any genuine authority. I have no reason to believe that Jesus was anything more than a political revolutionary, and he may not have even existed either. Everything that Christianity teaches is indistinguishable from pure fantasy and I don't believe any of it. If the Christian god is real and expects me to believe in Christianity then he doesn't understand or respect me at all.
