The one I mentioned is that you end the fire for good and free humanity to live in an age of darkness cause apparently light being good and dark being bad was a lie told to you by the gods the entire time so they could perpetuate their reign. Hence dark soul which is the one that gave birth to humanity.
It's interesting enough lore I think. Vaati did a decent video on it.
