There is a reason russian diasporas in eu become z heads, it’s because eventually they figured out that life in the west sucks too.
Having been around in the balkans , I don’t think the EU balkans are objectively more developed than Belarus . But you drink the democracy kool aid thinking liberalism somehow elevates life or even matters in the bigger picture.
