Most were presented to abrahamic religions in late stages, one could even argue conservative millenar christian societies such as Ethiopia and Coptic Egypt are much more substantial morally than for instance the Netherlands or Sweden.
It's not a nonwhite thing really, it's just the environment people live in and how well religion is organized in their cultural background.
