In Ukraine however, the goal of the (artificial idea) of Ukraine nationalism is to create a "pure Ukrainian state" which is why Russian language is banned and Russians not recognized as "natives". Other minorities, such as Rusyns in the west, are also "oppressed" and are subject to "Ukrainisation" atm (which is why Hungary has some beefs with Ukraine...)
