If they commit a crime they can expect police to go easy, courts to be lenient, sentences if any to be light, or charges simply dropped.
They have their own money, so they never develop the ability to depend on someone, as a result the discourage any form of dependency in their kids out.
Divorce is an easy cash payout. Hell, the husband has to pay the wife's lawyer fees in many places. Gotta pay them to steal from you.
Every demand they feel entitled to is validated. We want raises! And positions of power we haven't earned! And no more catcalling! Everything I don't like is rape! No amount of unreasonable demand gets met with a slap on the hand for impudence.
Nothing on the macro scale happens to these people is ever bad, so they live a life of easy comfort and reckless abandon. The worst thing they have to fear is someone punching them or taking the pussy. Both can be entirely mitigated by using sound judgment and risk management, which they do neither of.
Also, they're dumb as hell.
