So the Holy Spirit is actually essentially the gift of salvation that Christ gives to us through his sacrifice, it's different from saying "Jesus" or "God."
When you read the Bible it's important to take the context of the verse and try to use that to understand the meaning. In this passage Jesus is actually responding to someone (jews) accusing Him of being sent here and being given His power by satan. He is warning them not to reject the Holy Spirit, as in not to reject grace/forgiveness itself.
It's actually quite logical. If you reject His forgiveness then you can't be forgiven.
One of the most prominent Biblical figures is Paul, who was originally a pharisee (top jew). His mission was to travel the lands and execute all followers of Christ. However, after seeing Jesus come to him in a vision, he repented of his ways and devoted the rest of his life to helping others find Christ.
Although Paul had at one point in his life spoken AGAINST God and Jesus, he later accepted the Holy Spirit and repented (and was forgiven).
Now I'm fully aware this is just a trannytheist shill thread, but I wrote this with the hopes that some curious anon will read it and gain a better understanding of the Word of the Lord.
God Bless!
