The only murder in Bakewell in recent years (about 35 years ago) was referred to as the "Bakewell Tart Murder", because the victim was a woman who was a bit of a slag and some downie apparently killed and spunked on her body. Just to further dox myself, the downie kid ended up buying my aunties house when he received £400k in compo for false imprisonment. He served 27 years for a murder that he probably didn't commit. Everyone in Bakewell now assumes it was his dad, because his dad was a sexual harasser, flasher and abuser. This was never proved, though
