Homogeneity plays a large role in unity – people who look the same, speak the same language, share the same culture get along easier and are able to work together to advance science and civilization.
Thats why neighborhoods segregate. You don’t even have to enforce it. Thats why dialects develop into languages. Evolution is trying to lock in any wins it made in your genes by making your prefer a mate who not only looks like you, but speaks the same language as you.
If you were to take a random sample of 100 000 (non race -mixed) people and plot the patterns that multiple genes make in their DNA, you would find that the people cluster together in groups that are “coincidentally” also defined by the geographical areas that we call race. Picrel bottom right. T
Look at the genetic distances between the races. Look at Africans for example. The reason why they are so far away from everyone else is because they have completely different gene patterns. Its these gene patterns that define complex traits, that separate us from animals. Traits like intelligence, empathy, social cohesion ….. When you race mix you are scrambling the genetic patterns that evolution took millions years to perfect. In a process called “recombination” during sex cell production, bits of one races gene get spliced into another. In a few mutt generations these genes become so hopelessly jumbled that all the traits that made the original race are trashed. Yes the occasional outlier appears to be normal, Their offspring will not be. Its the average or mean is what is important.
The concept of race is far from abstract, countries that have multi-racial roots are dismal failures. Think Latin America. They lack the social cohesion that comes from homogeneity and are typically bastardized with a fraction of low IQ population.
