I remember the ISS as a kid. They had plans to turn it into a museum piece if an interstellar civilization was established. One of the greatest crowning achievements of mankind. Hopes were high. Then feminism infested NASA. That space station cannot come home if the story is true. It's a radioactive hellhole that is hostile to life if it is.
The Russian side is deeply pissed to the point where ROSCOSMOS is eating the cost of making another space station, but without Americans, basically unheard of in space community that is supposed to put aside said affiliations.
