What type of combat / situational awareness do I need to prep for?
Say I survive the cascadia 9.0 earthquake, my house in the suburbs is barely standing but I have basic food / water / supplies stored up to last a bit.
What do I do next? I assume roaming gangs and groups of thugs are gonna come soon for looting / violence while utilities are out. Do I try to get a group of over-socialized suburbanites to form a defense group with whatever guns we all have? Do we confront gangs with our guns when they come for my shit, or do you let them have it because it’s not worth the risk.
Non meme answers only, so many resources online are just materials LARP and don’t address the question on how to adjust your state of mind to deal with new levels of violence. I’m not a violent person, I don’t have these instincts naturally.
