I was a vehement atheist into my 30's, but it didn't take me long to find Christ once I actually started reading the Word. I think, from the time I first walked into my church, somewhere between staunchly skeptical and downright hostile, to the time I was baptized was about 3 months. Sounds crazy to think about, but hey, the Lord's power is crazy to think about. That was 5 years ago.
The fact that you're even thinking about it means God is calling out to you. I pray you seek Him with an open heart. Fortunately He isn't all that hard to find.
