The Columbian plagues wiped out over 90% of the natives. And there might have been native pandemics before that.
There was advanced enough trade networks that got native copper in Michigan turned into knives in the Andes.
We have no idea what was lost. But societies were probably about as advanced as Europe or the middle east were during the late stone age/early bronze age.
