Or maybe it's because I've missed out the life phase were I could have been with younger men during high school or college. But I usually don't find older men more attractive than their younger versions. .
If they have a really interesting character it can be different and I can overlook their physical flaws. That was the case with my boyfriend. But he wasn't hot anymore. But I felt safe and comfy around him and liked that he knew so many things.
