>>11056707> tfw anon just went to Kamay Ni Hesus, the Filipino cheap knock off of Cristo Redentor located in Lucban, QuezonWow, I'm so surprised! My mom was born there and lived in that town where the monument is located at for around 18 years until she moved into Manila to get employed (and to meet my dad).
This place brings a lot of memories to me. My family used to come there during Easter to attend the way of the cross processions held there by the parish church that owns the entire site. I'm just amazed.
all that aside, speaking of Filipino wives (or just women in general) they are pretty emotionally sensitive and deeply religious (or superstitious). And they're in a sense very patriotic and make good housewives - thus fitting the "tradwife" trope.
But that usually depends on where did they came from and/or what generation they belong in. A 20 yo Filipina in BGC/Downtown Makati is miles different than a 35 yo provinciana woman from a farmer family in Rural Tarlac. It's pretty much the same deal with other southeast asian countries tho. Just pick the ones who don't overtly rely on you for money. Avoid the golddiggers and choose the ones who dig your heart instead.
