it isn't really and the music doesn't interact in any special way, which is part of why it was so impressive in the first game i suppose. there's no particular reason to spend more than bare minimum resources on music, but it was all really good which was enhanced by it coming out of left field like that.
songs in the second game are also pretty good, but since there was the expectation that they'll be decent set by the first game it's not as amazing
