I don't remember that game being nearly that long. I was actually disappointed with how short it was compared to the original. I saved up so much equipment expecting it to be as long as the first and it all just ended with that terrible final boss fight, lol. Although the rest of the game was really fun. I also tried making a second playthrough but dropped it, got bored.
>What good games have you given up quickly becuse they were old and hard to play, For me it was morrowindOh, yeah, same here, I tried to play Morrowind but it was just a mess, lol, I didn't get how anybody enjoyed it at all, I think I walked over to the next town from the starting area and stopped playing after getting killed for clicking on something on a chest and not even putting it into my inventory.
Other than that, I can't really recall many games I had the same issue with, I more so dropped them because I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered to open them again even if I thought it was an interesting game.
