Rosea Utebatur Squilla "The Scrimp"
Found 4 kilometres north of Don Juan Pond, the most hyper saline pond on earth, Rosea Utebatur Squilla traverses the ice caverns of Antarctica on the hunt for ice mites and penny locust, an underwater hive of micro shrimp which are being studied for their use of magnetic fields alongside the Starling of the UK.
These tiny hybrid shrimps grow to a six millimetres long and are known to exhibit bioluminescence during the Antarctica Midnight.
