she was basically feral, very strong territorial instinct so when we got her back after she disappeared 6 months and got a new cat, she came back and was immediately pissed off the other cat existed.
had to deal with her stealing all his food, attacking him while he slept. i did sincerely try everything and read a bunch of shit on cat behaviour to try and work with it but she was so fucked off angry all the time it didn't work. people always say retarded shit like 'why didn't you introduce them slowly on either side of a closed door so they can get each other's scent.' and all this shit. nope nothing worked. feeding them different places didn't work either. was all really retarded.
so yeah when she was gone he basically just adjusted immediately and seemed a bit odd for a week max before he settled.
