>>13161382Nah, I don't hate Christians, at all.
I simply feel it's time to get back to our own, Native European religions. I think that religions are simply a way to try and connect to the creator, and it makes little difference if you call the creator Yahweh, Brahma, Odin, Jupiter, Zeus, etc.
As for the rest of the various religions, that's the crux of the angst between them. They are an attempt to commune with the creator, but wrapped in stories that push specific moralities.
And morality is subject to human opinion.
One religion might say you can be forgiven for your past sins and never punished for them, while the other might say you can only be forgiven after you've been punished, and you should WANT to be punished for them, to try and make amends for the pain you've caused others.
Some religions don't care if you're a fag, others see it as a sin against nature and the creator.
But if you can't accept the moral dogma of a religion, then it's simple cowardice to follow it anyway, out of fear you'll be eternally punished.
What kind of god builds his own torture chamber? A sadistic god? Does he gain pleasure from seeing others tortured?
Here's a clue...if that's the kind of god you believe in, then I guarantee you can't win with him. He's going to nail you to the wall, one way or another.
He's the kind of god that puts you in a garden paradise, but then puts a tree in it with tempting fruit, and tells you "you can eat any fruit in the garden, but NOT this one...don't ever eat THIS fruit...this fruit right here...on this tree..."
then he waits for you to fuck up.
It's like the Ren & Stimpy where they're both Space Cadets, and told to guard the enormous red button that must never be pushed...
