Have you noticed that they are obsessed with things like Marvel, politicians, sportsball athletes, Harry Potter, or famous (but talentless) performers?
They arent celebrating something because they are inspiring them to excel in some way. Its not the same as an athlete or musician learning things from someone else in their field. They have no real talents. They celebrate these things because they think talking about them ad nauseum makes them part of the achievement.
Likewise, they deride things because not liking their leeched achievements feels like a personal attack- after all, these are THEIR achievements youre mocking, at least in their minds. They are resigned to commenting endlessly on something SOMEONE ELSE has done, or is doing. This is why they spend hours attacking things they dont care for- because who are you to attack their achievements-by-proxy?
This isnt the same as having a laugh at stupid things sometimes. They exist only to celebrate or stigmatize things. They spend all of their time on this. This is what unremarkable, talentless people do.
Its fascinating to me. There are millions of talentless people who just leech off someone elses achievements, praise them endlessly, view any statement or action going against their hero worship as a personal attack, and have no problem whatsoever with that.
