Also, God gave me brown hair and brown eyes, but he gave other people blue eyes and red or blond hair. I could accept being a man to avoid Hell, but being told by God that I don't even get blue eyes or red hair in Heaven makes my despair.
If we were all made in God's image and the animals aren't, why do some people have red or blond hair and blue eyes, while others have black hair and brown eyes? How can we all be made in the image of God? God can only have one eye color, unless he transcends such limitations and so he has all eye colors. And if I was made in His image, why does He have multiple eye colors at once while I only get one facet of His glory that *he* got to choose.
Basically, why won't God let me play with my avatar in the character generator, but he gets to establish what I look like forever with no input from me at all?
I still believe in God, and I refuse to walk away from Him, but I don't see the point in following any of the other rules if refusing to be the gender God made me condemns me to Hell.
