My grand dad brought it back from the war. I also have another bayonet he brought back. He apparently had a luger too but he gambled it away in a card game on the boat back to America. He was drafted and then after boot was dared to take the OCS exam and apparently aced it. He was at the liberation of two different camps, I have a lot of pics he took there too and they appear to show more of a work camp than a death camp. I also have a small flag and we used to have some dinner ware but it got broke and tossed years ago, before I was born.
