>>9903979The best and most informative book on the case of Simon of Trent is Vier Tiroler Kinder - Opfer des chassidischen Fanatismus by Josef Deckert. The book by Po is, although in English and quite informative, not very based - since he denies everything and omits some critical facts.
Ariel Toaff's book is more about the blood merchants and the theological question of baking matzoh bread with Christian blood, he only briefly touches the case itself. Pretty interesting read nonetheless, but literally half the book is source notes in various languages, mostly latin.
