American supply lines had to stretch across the Atlantic and into Central Europe, with a major part of its war effort directed towards the Pacific and the Nips at this point anyway. Germany meanwhile was fighting on its own borders.
Regarding air superiority the weather was dog shit and the pilots couldn’t see a fucking thing for quite sometime.
It’s the only reason the Battle of the Bulge went slightly well for the Germans at the beginning.
Y’all still couldn’t take Bastogne from a single fucking division without winter gear, low on ammo, and with chickens on their shoulders. Top kek.
